About Us
Lee Evans – President/Arborist
Lee Evans was born and raised in Splendora, Texas. He attended the Arthur Temple College of Forestry at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) in Nacogdoches. After four and a half years of participating in Forestry Organizations, including serving as president of the Sylvans for two years, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Forestry in December of 2000.
In January of 2001, he married his wife, Debbie Magee and the following June they moved to Austin, where Lee took a job as an arborist.
To date he has eleven years of experience in the arbor care industry and his professional certifications and licenses include: ISA Certified Arborist TX-1339A, Texas Department of Agriculture Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator #0389620, and Texas Oak Wilt Certified Arborist TOWC-0024.
On a personal level, his daughter arrived in August of 2002 and his son in May of 2005. Following the arrival of his son, Lee began to think about starting his own company and in April of 2006, Certified Arbor Care, Inc was born.

Brent Frazier – Arborist
Brent was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and moved to Arlington Texas as a child. In 1996 he graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in urban forestry and moved to Austin following an arborist position.
Brent brings twelve years of experience to our team and his professional certifications include: ISA Certified Arborist TX-0965A, Texas Oak Wilt Certified Arborist TOWC-0065. Brent joined Certified Arbor Care at the end of December 2006 and in January 2008 he began his partnership.
Brent married Brenna Garland in February of 2007. They live in Cedar Park and have two children, three year old Ashyln and their new son, Kaden (January 2008).

Brent Newsom – Residential Arborist
Brent Newsom grew up in Hughes Springs, Texas and graduated in December of 2008 from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Forestry.
Through college, Newsom gained experience in landscape maintenance and street tree surveys. He has been a member of ISA and SAF (Society of American Foresters) for two years.
Newsom’s certifications include: ISA Certified Arborist TX-3633A and Texas Oak Wilt Certified Arborist TX-0150.

Debbie Evans – Office Manager/Arborist
Debbie grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas. In May of 2000 she graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. In January of 2001, Debbie married Lee Evans. In December of 2001, she graduated again with her Masters in Environmental Science from SFA and in January 2002 she worked as a staff scientist for an engineering and environmental consulting company until the arrival of their daughter.
In April of 2006, Certified Arbor Care, Inc was born and she served as an executive assistant to Lee and office manager for Certified Arbor Care.
Lee and Debbie have been blessed with 2 children, Ellie (August 02) and Michael (May 05) and they currently live in Liberty Hill, Texas.
Debbie’s professional certifications include: ISA Certified Arborist TX-3609A and Texas Oak Wilt Certified TOWC-0149.
